Step Into Farming History at Our Museum
Housed in a restored early 20th-century tobacco barn, our Museum sits on the original farm that’s now home to Steam-O-Rama. Inside, you’ll find a collection of antique tools and equipment that tell the story of everyday farm life—from planting and harvesting to storing and selling crops.

The displays include tools once used in woodshops, butchering, and around the farm home. You’ll also see a working hay fork system and a litter carrier—rare finds from a bygone era. Many of the items were made right here in York County or nearby, showcasing the region’s rich agricultural roots.

Admission is by donation. Come take a look back at how things were built, grown, and done.

Museum Open Schedule

Our Museum is open during the Spring and Fall Shows or by appointment at other times. For more information or to setup an appointment other then show times, please contact Rich Sheidy (717)-606-2521.

Museum Details

We have been concentrating our efforts on a display featuring local York County gristmills. We are collecting bags used to transport animal feeds, seed and fertilizer along with bags used for finished mill products. In addition we feature a display showing how chicken feed was marketed in calico print cotton bags to be reused by the farmwife for household linens, dresses, aprons and clothes for children.
